Quilt Journal #402 PDF

$ 0.00
The Quilt Journal is a great way to document the quilts and project you create. With a place to leave all the important details (project, recipient, date, place, pattern used), as well as any extra notes or stories that make the project, or recipient, special. You can easily tape or glue in scraps of the fabrics you used, as well as a photo of the finished project. You'll be able to always remember all your beautiful creations, as well as continue to enjoy the beautiful fabrics you've used.

Journals can be as big or as small as you'd like. Print enough pages for all the quilts you'll make in a year, making a new book each year. Or make a book for each type of project you sew: one for quilts, bags, pillows, etc.

To create The Quilt Journal you will need to print on both sides of the paper. You can simple bind your book by stapling it, but I recommend at minimum, a three hole pamphlet stitch. I include a very basic tutorial on how to do this.

You will need:
::Paper (any type you want. Card stock or regular)
::Book binding floss
::OR Embroidery floss coated in bees wax (Bees wax is found at most art stores. Bees wax helps prevent the floss from ripping through your paper.)
::Awl (or something in which you can poke holes through the spine).
::Ruler or straight edge
